Intro to Girl Friendly Hotels in Bangkok
Bangkok has an amazing hotel scene.
Not only are there so many accommodations, but they also have good prices compared to other tourist locations around the world.
For most single guys, they want to stay in the hotels that don’t charge joiner fees for extra overnight visitors. You may also have heard that some hotels are “girl friendly”.
If the hotel is not guest friendly, then they will impose joiner fees, usually between 500 – 1500 Baht. The nicer the property, the higher the joiner fees.
So of course, booking at the right hotel for you will save you the worry of paying extra. Just look at my list here and you can be assured and not wondering if the place is guest friendly.
I have stayed at these place myself and so have other people I personally know. Just make sure to book your room for double occupancy (more on this later, check after the article for some extra tips)
At most places the front reception staff will ask you for the I.D. of your guest, and they will return the I.D. to them when they leave the property.
Some hotels will even call your room to confirm that your guest leaving. This is an excellent way to assure your security.

The Ambassador Hotel is a very popular accommodation in Bangkok, the location is right in the middle of the entertainment areas and also near the BTS station.
The rooms are fairly clean, include WIFI, and have nice city views. The main feature of this place is the large outdoor pool. A good mid-budget option.

Ruamchitt Plaza Hotel * * *
The Ruamchitt Plaza Hotel is another well-known girl friendly hotel in this city. The famous Bangkok Thermae bar is located just below this place. The basic rooms are clean and have WIFI, but are on the smaller side.
I recommend to stay in the larger rooms, with views. The location is simply amazing, and the rooftop pool is one of the best in this area. A good option over-all, especially for a mid-budget.

The Galleria 10 Hotel has a nice modern feel to it. The rooms are excellent, very clean, and include WIFI.
I think for the price it is an excellent option, especially if you find a good deal on it. It is close to the BTS station too.

The Legacy Express Bangkok is a great mid-budget option. An excellent location close to Nana Plaza and the BTS station. Rooms are fairly modern, very clean, and have free WIFI.

Majestic Grand Hotel Bangkok * * * *
Majestic Grand Hotel Bangkok is one the better hotels in all of Sukhumvit. An added bonus is the great rooftop style pool for you to enjoy.
Location wise it is great, near Nana plaza and the surrounding nightlife. As expected, rooms are superb, and have free WIFI. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it for a luxury guest friendly room.

Boss Suites Nana * * *
Boss Suites Nana is very well located, near the Nana plaza entertainment district and beer bars in Bangkok , but on a quieter area of the alley. So it is good if you want a good nights rest, but still close to the action.
Good for mid budget guest friendly accommodation, especially if you get a good price for it. Rooms are decent, clean and have free WIFI.

Adelphi Suites Hotel * * * *
Adelphi Suites is one my favorite hotels in Bangkok. A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. The rooms are fantastic, well designed, clean and have free WFI. The rooftop style pool has superb views of the city.
Location wise it is good, near the nightlife and BTS Station. Can’t go wrong with this place.

Admiral Premier Bangkok * * * *
Admiral Premier is a solid 4 star hotel, located a few hundred meters away from Soi Cowboy. It is also nearby some of the city’s popular massage shops. Offers a good nights sleep since it is situated further into Soi 23.
Rooms are very clean, and have a cozy feel to them. Great value for a hotel of this caliber. To finish off, there is a rooftop pool, with a gym right next to it. I stayed here many times.

A premium 5 star guest friendly hotel located near Soi Cowboy and Terminal 21 Mall. One of the highest rated properties in all of Bangkok. As usual, the experience is complete with the wonderful rooftop pool and fitness facilities. The staff and service here is top notch. Highly recommended.

Woraburi Sukhumvit Hotel is solid low-mid budget option, especially if you want to be around the Nana Plaza area on Soi 4.

One of the popular guest friendly hotels near Nana Plaza, especially in the mid-budget range. The Majestic Suites Hotel consistently gets good ratings by visitors.
Great for the location and also because you can use the pool and fitness facilities of the partner hotel (Majestic Grand).

The place is listed as a 4 star hotel, so you can expect nicely designed rooms, cleaned daily, and also with free WIFI.
The great feature is also the nice pool with many sun loungers around. An excellent place to stay, especially if you find a great deal on it during certain times of the year.

Royal Asia Lodge * * *
Royal Asia Lodge is a basic hotel, pretty good for the budget minded traveler. Just don’t expect anything fancy here, but clean rooms, free WIFI, and of course 100% guest friendly policy.
The location is one the main reasons most guys stay here, and also the free shuttle to the nearby Nana BTS station. One of those “you get what you pay for” hotels. Not bad, but just understand what budget it caters to.

Le Fenix Sukhumvit * * *
Le Fenix Sukhumvit is an excellent value oriented hotel. The rooms are very clean, cozy, and all have free WIFI. The location is more central, can walk to both Nana and Soi Cowboy in around 10 minutes.
One main selling point of this place is the nice rooftop pool and lounge. The view of Bangkok is one of the best in this area. It is also located near some of Bangkok’s popular nightclubs on Soi 11.

Dream Hotel * * * *
The Dream Hotel is a popular girl friendly hotel in Bangkok. The location is central, right in the heart of Sukhumvit. Also worth mentioning is that the hotel is near the Thermae Bar, which is a great for finding freelancers in Bangkok.
The hotel itself has a nice modern feel to it, is exceptionally clean, and has a rooftop pool with decent views. An excellent four star accommodation in this area.

Grand Centre Point Hotel Terminal 21 * * * * *
If you want to experience the best of Bangkok’s hotels then look no further. The Grand Centre Point Hotel Terminal 21 is a 5 star guest friendly hotel right in the heart of the nightlife areas.
Rooms are a bit pricey, especially for Thai standards, but not that expensive for international standards. Staying in a similar hotel in other places around the world would easily cost double or triple of what you would pay here.
Rooms are exceptionally clean, have nice city views, and very well designed. The rooftop pool is also one of the best in all of the Sukhumvit area. Highly recommended.

Nana Hotel Bangkok * * *1/2
A very well-known hotel located right across the Nana plaza entertainment area. The Nana Hotel has been renovated with nice rooms, and all have free WIFI.
The location and the pool are two of the main reasons why guests love to stay here. For the price it is a great place to stay.

CitiChic Hotel * * *
Another popular guest friendly hotel, which is run by the ICheck Inn company. Location is central on Soi 13, a bit further into the alley (better for peaceful sleep). It even has a smaller pool for a quick dip and relaxation.
The ratings are good at this place. If you find it for a low price during the low season it can be a bargain.

Sacha’s Uno Hotel is a smaller property located closer to Bangkok’s Soi Cowboy gogo bars area. The Terminal 21 Mall is also just a couple minutes walk away. Rooms are cozy, clean, modern, and have free Wi-Fi.
Considered for a medium budget, but some people think it is a bit pricey for that range. Check it out for yourself.

Another great choice, the Dawin Bangkok Hotel is a superb place to stay, especially if you want to stay near the transit and BTS Nana station. The staff is attentive, the rooms are excellent, and of course it is 100% guest friendly. To top it off it also has rooftop pool with nice views of the Bangkok Skyline. A great choice.

A good mid-budget option, the City Lodge Hotel Bangkok is a solid 3 star hotel. The location is closer to the central of Sukhumvit nightlife areas, you can reach both Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza within 10 minutes. Rooms are very clean, with free WiFi and the staff is very friendly.

The Citadines Sukhumvit 16 Bangkok is one of the highly rated hotels in the Soi 16 area. The location is amazing, near Terminal 21, and also the famous Soi Cowboy nightlife attractions. You can also reach Nana Plaza by foot, which will take around 10 minutes. In terms of transit you are near the Asoke BTS station, which you can also access from the Terminal 21 Shopping center. Rooms have a nice modern touch and are very clean. The friendly staff and the rooftop pool just add to the amazing value of this place.

Another centrally located property, Paradiso Boutique Suites is a good three star hotel. Rooms are cleaned daily, have free WiFi, and excellent water pressure. The staff is friendly and and always attentive to guests inquiries. You are near just steps away from the nightlife near Sukhumvit soi 10, and also walking distance to Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza. There is also a park nearby (Chuvit Gardens). A great choice if you are looking for a mid-budget guest friendly hotel.

Extra Information & Tips
The hotels mentioned above are guest friendly, Just make sure that you are the single registered guest at check-in, and that your room is booked under double occupancy (2 people in room). This way you can bring an extra visitor anytime you want, as many times as you want, free of charge.
Another good idea is to book a hotel that has outdoor pool. Especially in Bangkok, since there is no beach near by, and it can get very hot. It can be an advantage to have those types of facilities for some people. Personally, I like it, it can be relaxing to take a swim and cool off, or take in the views of the city.
If you plan to spend most of your time in one location, like Soi Cowboy or Nana Plaza, then you might prefer to stay in a hotel close to those areas. But don’t forget, the BTS Skytrain is very convenient and easy to use, in case you do want to travel around Sukhumvit. Many of the guest friendly hotels in Bangkok are near the transit system.
