Location wise it is great, you are near many restaurants, bars, and also walking distance to the beach and Soi Bangla. A three and half star property, Aspery Hotel is a very popular choice among travelers in Phuket that are looking to be near the beach. Just keep in mind that there are two buildings depending on which room you choose. The “Classic” rooms are in the original building, and are known to be better in terms of facilities and the rooftop pool. In any case, the rooms are very clean, serviced daily, and have free Wifi. A superb place to stay in Phuket, the Duangjitt Resort and Spa is a premium five star hotel. Highly recommended for its quality, and the beautiful outdoor pool which will make you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. It feels like a resort, but don’t worry, it is still guest friendly. The only thing to consider is that the location is a bit farther away from the main entertainment and nightclubs in Patong. However, there is tuk-tuk service which can take you to the entertainment and shopping zones. The rooms are very spacious, welcoming, have beautiful furnishings and decorations, and the kind housekeeping is exactly what you would expect from a five star hotel in Phuket. Can’t go wrong with this one.

This Phuket hotel has amazing value for money, but keep in mind that there is no lift. The rooms are very clean and the management and staff is very friendly and helpful to all guests.

An over all amazing place to stay. The Patong Hemingway’s Hotel is a quality four star hotel, located on the popular Soi Sansabai area. You are just a few minutes away to the Beach and also the nightlife, clubs and gogo bars around Soi Bangla in Phuket. It really has almost everything you need for a guest friendly place, even a nice rooftop pool, with a good amount of sun loungers for the size. The staff and management is very attentive, the rooms are very clean, and there is nice little cafe in the lobby. Possibly the best value you could find for Hotels in Phuket. Personally one of my favorite places to stay, and highly recommended, especially since it is fully guest friendly.

Sunset Mansion ***

If you want a smaller and private place to stay in Phuket, then the Sunset Mansion could be a choice for you. It is a three star serviced apartment, located a around 15 minutes away from Soi Bangla and the beach. There aren’t much extra facilities here, and the hotel is a bit basic, but it is very clean and the staff is excellent. For the low price it can very good value, especially for those of you who don’t mind to be a bit farther from away from the main nightlife area.

A budget friendly hotel in Phuket, the Sharaya Patong Hotel is a two and half star property. The ratings are not that great because some of the rooms are very basic, with no windows. However, the upgraded rooms are nicer, with balconies, and feel more high quality. It can be a great deal, especially since it has a nice rooftop pool. The location is in a very quiet place, which can be great for a peaceful sleep. Just keep in mind it is around a 20 minute walk to Soi Bangla. I listed it here because of the very low prices, and the the fact that it can be a great choice for the budget minded solo traveler in Phuket. Decide for yourself.

The rooms are very spacious, get cleaned daily, and have some of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. The management and staff is also very friendly, and do a great job of making guests feel welcome.

A great value here, this place really has almost everything you need for a great stay. The Summer Breeze Hotel is a solid three star property located within walking distance to all the nightlife activities around. It is also just a few minutes walk to the Jungceylon Shopping Center. The rooms are spacious, and comfortable, and will give you a nice sleep — the area is quiet at night.

The Arya EightballRecords Hotel is a three star property, with some very good ratings. The location is just a few hundred meters from Jungeylon Shopping Center, and about a 15 minute walk to Soi bangla and the Beach. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the staff is very friendly. Most guests seem to love this place, and excellent hotel in Phuket.
