Unlike other places, such as Thailand, almost all the hotels in Angeles will not charge you when you want to bring guests back to your room. That also includes any freelancers you may meet in the streets, online, and nightclubs.

One of the main reasons for this is that Angeles has been primarily designed to cater to the single male tourists who come to holiday and visit the girly bars. So almost all the hotels in town know exactly what type of tourist make up the majority of the travelers who book the hotels.

One main drawbacks to the guest friendly hotels in Angeles City is that there really aren’t a huge selection of hotels to choose from like there are in other places such as Thailand. And you typically end up paying a bit more in Angeles for the same type of accommodation that you would elsewhere.

In Angeles city, a large percentage of the hotels will not have rooms with balconies, or extra facilities like outdoor pools, fitness centers for you to enjoy. But the good thing is that almost all the hotels are guest friendly. And that includes allowing Transgender to stay with you.

At most places, the reception staff will gladly allow you to bring back non-registered guest, as long as they present them with an I.D. card. Once your guest leaves they will return the I.D. back to them.

The Clarkton Hotel is one of the best guest friendly hotels in Angeles City for the medium budget range. It is a four star property, located further away from all the busy nightlife on Fields, but is still fully guest friendly. You can get a nice peaceful rest here.

The rooms are comfortable, have free WiFi, and get serviced daily. Furthermore, there is a wonderful outdoor pool, which gets plenty of sunlight. The onsite restaurant is also serving great food and drinks. Highly recommended if you prefer to be farther away from Fields.

The ABC hotel is hands down my favorite guest friendly place to stay in Angeles City. It is a bit pricey (for Philippines standards), but you would easily spend 3 or 4 times the same for a similar hotel elsewhere in the world. So it actually is amazing value for what you get. It is a five star hotel, the rooms are superb, with beautiful designs and spotlessly clean.

The rooftop terrace has arguably one of the best outdoor swimming pools in all of Angeles. It is host to some impressive pool parties, with a live DJ, multiple bars serving great cocktails. You really can’t ask for more in a hotel. Highly recommended place to stay, even if its just for a couple nights to treat yourself.

Lewis Grand Hotel ****

The Lewis Grand Hotel is a highly recommended hotel.

The main reason why I like it is because it is located in a quieter area of Angeles City, yet still about a 5 to 10 minute walk to most of the bars and nightlife fun.

All the rooms are spacious, and many have terrace and pool views. Management does a good job of running this place. A good, solid quality here, with an outdoor pool.

Grand Central Hotel ***

The Grand Central is one the better guest friendly hotels that are located right on Fields Avenue. Which means your are just steps away from all the go go bars, restaurants and nightlife pleasures.

Right across this hotel is the Baiking Bar, previously known as Vikings Bar. There is also a nice bar and restaurant downstairs. The hotel and rooms are very clean, and the friendly staff does a fair job of treating all guests with that famous Filipino charm.

Another great choice, especially if you enjoy a nice quiet place. The Penthouse is still just a few minutes walk to Fields and surrounding venues, but located on the quieter Santos Street.

Big rooms, friendly staff, and an outdoor pool that receives decent amount of sunshine. Those are the things to expect at the Hotel America. The location is a bit further away from Walking Street, but near lots of the smaller girly bars on Perimeter.

Although its located directly on the road, you still get a better sleep than being near the busy Fields Avenue area.

The location here is very quiet, and farther from most of the nightlife near Walking Street. But don’t let that stop you from staying here.

The Prime Asia Hotel is modern, very clean, and had friendly staff. The outdoor rooftop pool is also very good, with a nice mountain view of the region. Well worth the price, just you need to walk a bit extra to get around, or get a trike.

What a great hotel, especially for the price. The only thing to consider is that it is located farther away from the main nightlife excitement on Walking Street. It is around a 15 minute walk, or a few minutes trike ride.

The hotel has comfortable rooms, respectful staff, and some awesome food at the on-site restaurant. You can also take a quick dip at the courtyard style swimming pool.

One of my favorite hotels in Angeles City. Simply because of the outdoor rooftop pool, and the quiet location. The rooms are also pretty good, but the basic rooms are a bit small. One of the best hotels on Walking Street. The Hotel Royal Amsterdam is also very highly rated. Although the location is in a busy area, the inside of the hotel feels quite cozy and quiet.

Walk-About Hotel ***

A popular choice on located right on Walking Street. You are literally steps away from the bars, and also very close to High Society nightclub, a great place to meet freelancers in Angeles. The place is very comfortable, simple designs, rooms, and is very clean.

A great guest friendly hotel right in the middle of the action. Another great thing about the Walk-About-Hotel is the patio bar. You can relax have some food and drinks as you do some people watching. Finally, it even has a neat outdoor swimming pool to cool off in the hot afternoons in Angeles City.

This hotel is located right at the entrance of Walking Street. So you are right in the heart of of all the best things to see in Angeles. It is walking distance to most things, including the smaller bars in the Perimeter area. The rooms are very cozy. The rooftop terrace has excellent views of the city, and it also has small plunge style swimming pool if you feel like a quick dip. Another one of my favorite hotels in Angeles.

950 Condotel **

A great value hotel here. The 950 Condotel is located a bit farther away from the Walking Street, but don’t worry, you are still close enough to walk there in 10 minutes.

On the upside, you are just a 5 minute walk to the Perimiter bars. The rooms here are very clean, and comfortable, but they don’t have any views.

The staff and service is friendly. There is also a supermarket located on the ground level for most of your shopping needs. A simple hotel that offers excellent value, and easily allows you to bring back guests over.

It really has almost everything you need for a guest friendly place, even a nice rooftop pool, with a good amount of sun loungers for the size. The staff and management is very attentive, the rooms are very clean, and there is nice little cafe in the lobby. Possibly the best value you could find for Hotels in Phuket. Personally one of my favorite places to stay, and highly recommended, especially since it is fully guest friendly.

If you want a smaller and private place to stay in Phuket, then the Sunset Mansion could be a choice for you. It is a three star serviced apartment, located a around 15 minutes away from Soi Bangla and the beach. There aren’t much extra facilities here, and the hotel is a bit basic, but it is very clean and the staff is excellent. For the low price it can very good value, especially for those of you who don’t mind to be a bit farther from away from the main nightlife area.

Sharaya Patong Hotel **

A budget friendly hotel in Phuket, the Sharaya Patong Hotel is a two and half star property. The ratings are not that great because some of the rooms are very basic, with no windows. However, the upgraded rooms are nicer, with balconies, and feel more high quality. It can be a great deal, especially since it has a nice rooftop pool. The location is in a very quiet place, which can be great for a peaceful sleep. Just keep in mind it is around a 20 minute walk to Soi Bangla. I listed it here because of the very low prices, and the the fact that it can be a great choice for the budget minded solo traveler in Phuket. Decide for yourself.

A two and half star accommodation, the La De Bua Hotel is perfect for the location. It is just a few minutes walk to Patong Beach and Bangla Road entertainment. The rooms are very spacious, get cleaned daily, and have some of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. The management and staff is also very friendly, and do a great job of making guests feel welcome.

Most guests seem to love this place, and excellent hotel in Phuket.

The location may be the best feature of this three star property. The Aspara Residence is excellent for its value, and the rooms are better than what you expect at this price range. The friendly reception staff are always doing a great job to make all visitors feel welcome.

A cool looking place, the Tiger Inn Hotel is a two and half star property. One of the intriguing features of the place is the design, with beautiful wood furniture throughout the hotel. There is live music every night, and a nice restaurant on site. It is close to everything you need in the Patong Beach area. Housekeeping is also excellent. The rooms are very comfortable, and have cozy vibe to them. You are also just a few minutes walk to the famous Phuket nightlife attractions around the Bangla Road area. If you are looking for a guest friendly hotel which also has some character to it, this place is might be an option for you.

A solid four star property, the Bliss Hotel South Beach Patong is one of the higher quality guest friendly hotels in Phuket. With very high ratings, very positive feedback, and a management that constantly tries to improve guests experiences. The location is right Beach road, and about a 10 minute walk to the main nightlife areas around Soi Bangla. Rooms are fantastic, housekeeping is on point, and the beautiful outdoor pool is the finishing touch to one the preferred hotels in Phuket.

Hangout by KLY (K Hotel) ***

Previously known as the K Hotel, now the Hangout by KLY is still an excellent place to stay, especially if you want to be just 5 minutes walk to the Soi Bangla area. It is situated in a quiet area, yet still close enough to all the nightlife activities. So you are near all the action in Patong, but still able to get a good nights sleep. Rooms are very comfortable, and there is a small swimming pool, with a garden surrounding it. A great value here.

The great thing about this city is sheer amount of hotels. Not only are there so many accommodations, but they are very reasonably priced compared to other popular tourist destinations around the world.

The rooms are modern, spacious and very clean. One look at the ratings will assure you how much guests love this hotel. To top things off, there is a rooftop pool, gym, and sauna facilities.

The locations of this property is one of the main selling points. The R-Con Residence is 100% guest friendly, and is right on Soi Buakhoa. One of the drawbacks is that the building itself is on the older side, and could use some modern renovations. If you find a good deal on it it can be worth it.

This hotel is very guest friendly. The owners have created the perfect hotel for single male travelers. It is the perfect choice if you want some privacy, you can access the building through the private entrance using your key card. The rooms are very clean, and some of them even have partial sea view. Another great point is the sports bar, they serve amazing Pub food and Thai food. The only drawbacks is that it is lacking in some facilities like pool and fitness center. But besides that, it can be a great stay.

The location is about 5-10 minutes walk to the beach, Soi 6 bars, and the Central Festival PLaza area. I highly recommend this hotel.

A reputable hotel brand, the LK Metropole continues the great tradition of amazing hospitality in Pattaya. It even has a small rooftop pool to do some sunbathing in. Nothing fancy here, just a solid value hotel for travelers.

An all around amazing Hotel. The Sabai Lodge is located farther away from Walking Street, so it is great for the guys who want a good nights sleep. But don’t worry, a quick Baht Bus ride can always get you near Walking Street in no time. The great thing is that it is near the bars on Soi 6 and also just a few minutes walk to the body to body massage parlors in Pattaya. The rooms are amazing, very clean, comfortable and include Wi-Fi. The swimming pool is also one of the best in this area, or you could quicly access Pattaya Beach in just a couple minutes by foot. To top it off, the hotel staff is super friendly and attentive to all guests. One of my personal favorites.

Situated very close to Pattaya Beach, Sea Me Spring is one of the better quality guest friendly hotels in this city. The staff is nice, the rooms are excellent, and the location is simply amazing. It is within 10 mintutes of walking distance to all the major major nightlife areas, including Walking Street. The property itself is well managed and very clean with Wi-Fi throughout. To top it off, the rooftop pool is excellent, with nice ocean views.

If you want to experience a luxury hotel that is 100% guest friendly, then look not other than the Baraquda Pattaya. The rooms are immaculate, extremely clean and comfortable with a nice modern touch. The location is just as good, with just a few minutes walk to Pattaya Beach. If you don’t feel like going to the beach then don’t worry, there is an amazing outdoor pool to cool you off in the hot weather in Pattaya.
Well worth the price in my opinion, especially if you find it for lower prices during the low season.

Another Eastiny brand here. This one is on the busy beer bar area of Soi 7, which is a popular place to find bar girls in Pattaya If you don’t mind the extra noise at night then this place might be of interest to you. The rooms are actually very clean and comfortable, however, it is very basic in terms of the bathroom and furniture. The great thing is that the ocean view rooms on the higher floors have some of the nicest views into Pattaya Bay for this price range. The hotel also has a decent rooftop pool, it just lacks enough sunloungers. The location and affordable price is the main selling point of this place.

One of the most popular hotels in Pattaya, especially for single male travelers. The Sunshine Hotel & Residences is located right in the heart of Soi 8. You are steps away from the nightlife on the street, and walking distance to the beach, which is popular area for freelancers in Pattaya. The property itself has seen many years, but they completed some renovations a few years back. Rooms are very clean, staff is friendly, and there is a nice rooftop pool for you to enjoy. Most guests feel very welcome, and due it being a “residence” you can expect a bit more privacy when bringing back any girl to your hotel.

Another great point is that you are centrally located and within 10 minutes walk to Walking Street and many other nightlife areas in Pattaya.

J.P. Villa * * *

Hands down, one of the best value guest friendly hotels in Pattaya. The only issue with J.P. Villa is the location, which is in North Pattaya. But the great thing is that it is just a 10 minutes walk to access the “Baht Bus” which can take you to Walking Street in just a matter of minutes. Due to the quiet location, you can expect a great nights sleep, and the over all vibe of this hotel is very relaxing. It almost feels like a resort. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The outdoor pool and other facilities are also some of the key features of this place. Amazing value for the price, only the location can be one of the drawbacks to staying here. But keep in mind that some people prefer a quite location. If that is you, then seriously consider this place.

In this article I will give you guys a brief introduction on this topic, and list you some great hotels that offer this policy, and also give some extra personal tips.

Intro to Girl Friendly Hotels in Bangkok

Bangkok has an amazing hotel scene.

Not only are there so many accommodations, but they also have good prices compared to other tourist locations around the world.

For most single guys, they want to stay in the hotels that don’t charge joiner fees for extra overnight visitors. You may also have heard that some hotels are “girl friendly”.

If the hotel is not guest friendly, then they will impose joiner fees, usually between 500 – 1500 Baht. The nicer the property, the higher the joiner fees.

So of course, booking at the right hotel for you will save you the worry of paying extra. Just look at my list here and you can be assured and not wondering if the place is guest friendly.

I have stayed at these place myself and so have other people I personally know. Just make sure to book your room for double occupancy (more on this later, check after the article for some extra tips)

At most places the front reception staff will ask you for the I.D. of your guest, and they will return the I.D. to them when they leave the property.

Some hotels will even call your room to confirm that your guest leaving. This is an excellent way to assure your security.

The Ambassador Hotel is a very popular accommodation in Bangkok, the location is right in the middle of the entertainment areas and also near the BTS station.

The rooms are fairly clean, include WIFI, and have nice city views. The main feature of this place is the large outdoor pool. A good mid-budget option.

Ruamchitt Plaza Hotel * * *

The Ruamchitt Plaza Hotel is another well-known girl friendly hotel in this city. The famous Bangkok Thermae bar is located just below this place. The basic rooms are clean and have WIFI, but are on the smaller side.

I recommend to stay in the larger rooms, with views. The location is simply amazing, and the rooftop pool is one of the best in this area. A good option over-all, especially for a mid-budget.

The Galleria 10 Hotel has a nice modern feel to it. The rooms are excellent, very clean, and include WIFI.

The Legacy Express Bangkok is a great mid-budget option. An excellent location close to Nana Plaza and the BTS station. Rooms are fairly modern, very clean, and have free WIFI.

Majestic Grand Hotel Bangkok * * * *

Majestic Grand Hotel Bangkok is one the better hotels in all of Sukhumvit. An added bonus is the great rooftop style pool for you to enjoy.

Location wise it is great, near Nana plaza and the surrounding nightlife. As expected, rooms are superb, and have free WIFI. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it for a luxury guest friendly room.

Boss Suites Nana * * *

Boss Suites Nana is very well located, near the Nana plaza entertainment district and beer bars in Bangkok , but on a quieter area of the alley. So it is good if you want a good nights rest, but still close to the action.

Good for mid budget guest friendly accommodation, especially if you get a good price for it. Rooms are decent, clean and have free WIFI.

Adelphi Suites Hotel * * * *

Adelphi Suites is one my favorite hotels in Bangkok. A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. The rooms are fantastic, well designed, clean and have free WFI. The rooftop style pool has superb views of the city.

Location wise it is good, near the nightlife and BTS Station. Can’t go wrong with this place.

Admiral Premier Bangkok * * * *

Admiral Premier is a solid 4 star hotel, located a few hundred meters away from Soi Cowboy. It is also nearby some of the city’s popular massage shops. Offers a good nights sleep since it is situated further into Soi 23.

Rooms are very clean, and have a cozy feel to them. Great value for a hotel of this caliber. To finish off, there is a rooftop pool, with a gym right next to it. I stayed here many times.

Royal Asia Lodge is a basic hotel, pretty good for the budget minded traveler. Just don’t expect anything fancy here, but clean rooms, free WIFI, and of course 100% guest friendly policy.

If you want to experience the best of Bangkok’s hotels then look no further. The Grand Centre Point Hotel Terminal 21 is a 5 star guest friendly hotel right in the heart of the nightlife areas.

Rooms are a bit pricey, especially for Thai standards, but not that expensive for international standards. Staying in a similar hotel in other places around the world would easily cost double or triple of what you would pay here.

Rooms are exceptionally clean, have nice city views, and very well designed. The rooftop pool is also one of the best in all of the Sukhumvit area. Highly recommended.

Extra Information & Tips

The hotels mentioned above are guest friendly, Just make sure that you are the single registered guest at check-in, and that your room is booked under double occupancy (2 people in room). This way you can bring an extra visitor anytime you want, as many times as you want, free of charge.

Another good idea is to book a hotel that has outdoor pool. Especially in Bangkok, since there is no beach near by, and it can get very hot. It can be an advantage to have those types of facilities for some people. Personally, I like it, it can be relaxing to take a swim and cool off, or take in the views of the city.

If you plan to spend most of your time in one location, like Soi Cowboy or Nana Plaza, then you might prefer to stay in a hotel close to those areas. But don’t forget, the BTS Skytrain is very convenient and easy to use, in case you do want to travel around Sukhumvit. Many of the guest friendly hotels in Bangkok are near the transit system.
